Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Edmonton Branch hosts and encourages the formation of Special Interest Groups. These groups meet to focus on their specific area of genealogical interest. Belonging to a SIG can help you tap into the experience of others and collaborate on research, forging friendships and new connections in the process. SIG groups provide the opportunity to exchange ideas and keep members informed about new genealogical records and developments. They lead various topics of interest, organize meetings, invite guest speakers and help each other with their genealogical brick walls. |

Members of the public are welcome!AGS Members and non-members are invited to join one session for each of AGS Edmonton Special Interest Groups. Membership with AGS Edmonton is required to attend additional sessions. |

Featured SIGs
A group interested in writing family history, genealogy books and articles.
Discussions, presentations, and activities provide assistance to those wishing to build skills for such writing
Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday in January, March, May, July, September and November. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m.
