Are you interested in local and unique stories that impact family stories? This position coordinates speakers from Edmonton, across Alberta and worldwide to share stories about genealogical techniques and sources, history, community and families with local family history researchers. Unlike our other events, our General Meetings are open to the public, so the speakers and presentations are accessible to a much wider audience. In this role, you will be able to bring unique stories to the stage by coordinating with local societies and experts worldwide (thanks to Zoom!) to set up virtual or in-person presentations to share with our genealogy community.
