1940 Family Car accident outside Edmonton
I am looking for any information that would help me with some family history. My grandparents were killed in a car wreck in 1940 just outside of Edmonton. It would be so incredible to connnect with someone who knew them. My dad was the only surviver of the accident and I think it would be neat if he could meet some of his relatives. All my relations, Debbie

I have just found that a WALKER family I am researching emigrated from Leochel-Cushnie, Aberdeen to Alberta. They cannot be found in scottish census after 1891 so presume it was sometime after that date.
Margaret/Maggie WALKER (nee Middleton) born 1830, Coull, Aberdeen arrived in Hill End district where a daughter had emigrated earlier as a teacher.
It was believed that Maggie arrived with two sons and youngest daughter Helen. The daughter, Helen Middleton WALKER md Frederick Charles PARKER. They are buried at Horn Hill Cemetery.
In 1910 when Margaret's son enlisted in WW1 she was described as of Box Hill.
In 1917 when he died at she is noted as being of Red Cliff.
Any help tracing Margaret and her children between 1891-1925 would be gratefully appreciated. Maggie was buried 1925 at Hillside cemetery, Medicine Hat.
Thanks, in anticipation.
