MICHAYLENKO, EDMONTON, 1911-1919 I am trying to find my grandfather, Sam Michaylenko, who apparently lived in or around Edmonton between about July 1911 to 1919. According to family history he married my grandmother, Annie Muma/Mucha/Muha in Edmonton during that period. Sam also had a brother who probably lived in Edmonton as well. If anyone has run across any trace of either name I’d appreciate hearing from him/her. The name Michaylenko is very rare, and may have been a misspelling of Michalenko. I am unaware of any records from Edmonton of that period that could be searched. If there are any, I’d appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Thanks. Bill , Houston, TX USA

WENNERSTROM, Eric and Mary, CALGARY – I am searching for the whereabouts of Eric and Mary Wennerstrom, last known address Calgary in 1988. Mary’s mother was a sister to Joseph Fudali and Victoria Dzingielowski. Eric and Mary had traveled through Poland in 1988 and had corresponded with some of my family in Saskatchewan regarding this trip. I was hoping that Eric and Mary are still alive or that their family members would communicate with our family and help us fill in some of the missing parts of our family’s history in Poland. Mary’s aunt Victoria Dzingielowski (Fudali) was married to my great uncle Chemyk (Sam) Dzingielowski. They had four children. I am hoping to obtain the names of these children to be able to contact them if they are still in Poland or if they have relocated elsewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. , Canada

FUDALI, JOSEPH, PEACE RIVER area of ALBERTA – I am searching for relatives of Joseph Fudali, who in approximately 1928 would have immigrated to Canada with John Deynaka (spelling??) to the Kelstern, Sasktchewan area and worked for a time for Joseph and Sophia Dzingielowski. Jospeh Fudali’s sister Victoria married Chemyk (Sam) Dzingielwoski and they had four chidlren in Poland, 3 daughters and a son named Metek or Metik. Sam was taken from their home by the German soldiers in 1939 or 1940. Possibly Joseph Fudali also had a brother Yatsik who married Franchyska (Frances) Dzingielowski. What I would hope to gather from your reply would be the names and or contacts of these people’s families in Poland as Joseph Dzingielowski was my grandfather and Chemyk (Sam) and Franchyska (Frances) would be my great uncle and aunt. My family has had no contact with any of these people since the early 1960s. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would help fill in some of the blanks in our family history. Please contact me at g.deobald@sasktel.net , Canada
