train accident, 1907
Davidson,Edson, 1907. My grandfather, Roderick Charles Davidson, was going to homestead around the Edson area according to family history. His wife Sarah and only son Roderick (9 months) were killed in some kind of train accident at the station in front of his eyes. They are buried in a mass grave I am told with other victims. Does anyone have any information about this accident or where they may be buried? I believe it would have been in January or February, as the story goes, Grandpa stayed with the rest of the family in tents in -50c weather before moving due to great sadness.

Son looking for his biological mother
I am actually trying to help my boyfriend find his biological mother. He was born July, 15th 1980 in Tomahawk, WI and he doesn't have any information about it because it was a closed adoption other than the doctors name. He is now almost 28 years old and very happy, but since we are talking about moving forward in our own relationship, we would both like to know his biological family health history just for when it comes to having kids of our own. Please email me with any information you may have. Thank you!

Duncan McDougall, North West Company / Catherine & Raphael Tremblay
Duncan McDougall Jr (North West Company) late 1700's - early 1800's
Catherine & Raphael Tremblay (Lac La Biche AB mid 1800's)
Duncan McDougall of the North West Company is my ancestor.
I researched Duncan & Iliche having a son named Caleb and found out that the information Viola refers to is from the historical fiction book "Columbia". I contacted the author Pamela Jekel to find out if there was any truth to Duncan's part of her story and she said that the son, Caleb, is fictional.
Although Duncan was married to Iliche from 1812 to when he left in the spring of 1817, so it is certainly possible that they had children, but so far I cannot find any mention of any children from the two of them.
If anyone finds any more information on Duncan McDougall Jr or Sr of the NWC or Catherine & Raphael Tremblay of the Lac La Biche area, please contact me. Thanks much.
